Recipes for this weeks share:

  • Broccoli: my whole life I’ve always steamed it and eaten it with a little bit of butter and salt, and too this day its my favorite way to eat broccoli. Sometimes simple is best!
  • Summer Squash and Zucchini: We used to always slice these thin and cook them on a flat top or in a skillet with onion and butter. You can also make bread out of yellow squash or zucchini, both are delicious!
  • Beets: I know this is a hit or miss for a lot of you all, but I encourage you to keep trying them. My favorite way to eat them is to boil them, peel them, and sauté in butter and fresh garlic. They are also amazing roasted in the oven. I often add my Garlic Scapes to them while sautéing as well!
  • Lastly: toss those radishes and Hakureis into a salad with that gorgeous lettuce head! If you have a mandolin slicer, its perfect for getting those veggies really thin!
