UK CSA You-Pick Program

One of the perks of joining the UK CSA program is free access to you-pick. There is no additional charge for you-pick if you are a current CSA member.

All members will receive full you-pick guidelines at the start of the season. The main you-pick field will open in mid to late June based on crop readiness, but we will also have some additional items that may be available earlier.

Items available for You-Pick in 2020 will include:

  • Raspberries
  • Blackberries
  • Flowers
  • Herbs
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Hot Peppers, Banana Peppers, and Shishito Peppers
  • Kale
  • Green Bush Beans
  • Specialty Beans/Edamame
  • Okra

You-Pick hours are the same as farm business hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm. We have extended hours on Thursday until 6:30pm to coincide with our on-farm CSA pick up window.

Can’t make it out to the farm during the week? No problem! We will also offer 3 Saturday You-Pick days on the second Saturdays of July, August, and September from 9am-11am.  Mark you calendars and we hope to see you then.

New for 2020: we will allow farm friends/Farm Stand patrons who are not CSA members to enjoy you-pick during our Saturday you-pick days for a fee. Fees will be assessed based on items picked. More information will be forthcoming.

Our members love the you-pick because of the chance to introduce the farm to their kids. One member’s testimony about the perks of CSA and you-pick:

We come back year after year and encourage those around us to participate in the bounty.  I love going to the farm to pick herbs, tomatoes, green beans, hot peppers and flowers when I have the chance.  I have learned so much about new veggies.  I could not live without my CSA!
