While our main season is winding down, we have a lot to celebrate. So many delicious vegetables and a great community of support top the list!
We’d like to invite you to celebrate this year’s CSA season with us at our farm, for a belated autumnal equinox potluck. Our annual CSA potlucks provide a great opportunity to connect with us! Our potlucks connect you to the farm, the people behind the farm, and the food you have been enjoying these past 20+ weeks.
Who: CSA members and their friends and families, CSA staff, and student apprentices. Bring a friend!
What: Our annual autumn potluck event! Bring a dish to share (great way to use some of your veggies in the share!) The farm will provide plates, cups, utensils, and drinks. It has traditionally always been chilly this time of year, so we will have apple cider and water to drink. We may luck out with some nice weather, though! Our volleyball net will be up for anyone that wants to enjoy a game.
When: Saturday October 15th. We’ll start gathering around 12pm (noon), and start eating shortly thereafter.
Where: The organic farming unit at the UK Horticulture Research Farm. 4321 Emmert Farm Lane. Entrances either off Man O War Blvd at the traffic light across from the Nicholasville Road WalMart and Lowe’s, or the back gate along Waveland Museum Lane. We will gather in the kitchen area. Parking lot across from the kitchen. Look for our CSA signs.
We hope to see you there!
